Special Projects:

Unity's Gardens

Donations Unity is committed to caring for all people who need hospice, palliative and bereavement support in Northeast Wisconsin.  To continue this very important mission, we need the support of generous people within the community.  In 2010, Unity provided nearly $1.4 million in charity care through its hospice, palliative and bereavement programs.  Unity’s patient census continues to grow and with it, the need for charity care.  We invite you to learn more about how you can support our programs and mission ... Giving Options
Support Unity's Care Programs In addition to providing care to patients who have limited or no insurance, many programs that Unity offers are unfunded.  A gift to support our care programs may help with any of the following:
	Patient care - Support hospice and palliative programs for patients with limited resources
	Bereavement - Help us support individuals and families following the loss of a loved one
	Residential care - Support patients in the final stages of life, including those who need assistance with room and board at Unity's Jack and Engrid Meng Residence

Memorial Opportunities Memorialize a loved one with a personalized brick in Unity's Gardens.  Donations may be pledged over five years, and proceeds will help support our patient care programs.
	4" x 8" Garden Brick......    $500      (up to 3 lines of inscription, 14 characters per line)
	8" x 8" Garden Brick.....    $1,000     (up to 6 lines of inscription, 14 characters per line)
Jack and Engrid Meng Residence Donations to Unity's Residence support medications, supplies, labor expenses, room and board for low-income patients, and general operational needs.
Sponsorship Opportunities Unity's Gardens at our De Pere, Wisconsin, campus offer ongoing opportunities for sponsorships.  Contributions to this special project supports Unity's care programs, with a small portion serving to fund ongoing project operations.

	Unity's GardensA place of solitude, peace and hope reflected through the beauty of nature.  The Gardens are open to patients, families and the community.
Endowment Fund Unity is working to establish an endowment fund to ensure that even in the face of unusual expenses or decreased revenue, Unity can continue to meet its mission by caring for the families in our communities.

u	Memorial gifts - May be made in memory or in honor of a family member or friend, or to recognize a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion
u	Unity's Gardens - Bricks, benches and cash donations to support special garden areas and Unity's care programs
u	Securities - Proceeds from the sale of stock, mutual funds and bonds
u	Planned gifts - Bequests from wills, estates, trusts, life insurance or annuities
u	Matching gift money - Unity is eligible to receive funds from company gift match programs
