Support Unity through the

Cellcom Green Bay Marathon

When the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon’s participants hit the streets on the weekend of May 19th and 20th, Unity will be part of the action! Chosen as a Marathon charity recipient for the 2012-2014 runs, Unity will receive a portion of the proceeds raised each year to help support the care of under- and uninsured patients with serious illness and at the end of life throughout Northeast Wisconsin.  How can you be a part of this exciting event?

1. Sign up as a participant (and encourage others to do the same) – You, your friends and family can all participate by walking or running in the kids’ run, 5K, half marathon, marathon relay or full marathon.  More participants means more funds to benefit Unity’s patients.  Click here to register.
2. Run for a ReasonRun for a Reason – Marathon participants can receive a free marathon registration (for any event other than the marathon relay) by signing up to Run for a Reason.  The free registration is yours after collecting $300 in donations. The deadline to collect your donations is May 1st.  To get started, visit http://www.cellcomgreenbaymarathon.com and click on the "Run for a Reason" logo.  Be sure to select “Unity” in order to direct all donations you raise to Unity. (If you’ve already registered for the Marathon, you can still sign up to Run for a Reason and sell or give away the registration you earn.)
3. Volunteer – Donate your time on Marathon weekend to ensure participant safety and success.  Join Unity’s team of course intersection guards.  You get a front-row seat to the action!  Other opportunities are also available.  To sign up, or for more information, contact Unity’s Volunteer Services department at 920.338.1111 or volunteer@unityhospice.org.
4. Support Unity – Unity relies on the financial support of the community throughout the year.  To make a one-time gift to Unity, click here.  Every dollar impacts your family and friends in Northeast Wisconsin.
