Bereavement Support
"Your bereavement service is a blessing and truly worthwhile program for the community.  The staff I met and worked with during my mom's illness were angels to me.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
-Loved one of a Shawano-area resident

About Bereavement Support
Grief is a natural and normal response to loss.  Unity's bereavement programs support adults, teens and children through the grief process. Our bereavement team is skilled at identifying effective coping skills and offering compassionate support and hope.  The Unity bereavement team is comprised of master's level and bachelor's level counselors, social workers and chaplains, as well as specially-trained volunteers who share a deep commitment to helping others who are grieving.  Our bereavement professionals are familiar with community resources and, when needed, will provide information about other agencies for additional support.
